Kate Howells works with The Planetary Society as Global Community Outreach Manager and National Coordinator for Canada. She organizes educational outreach activities via a global network of volunteers, manages the development of a youth education program, and is growing the Society's activities in Canada. Kate serves on the Government of Canada's Space Advisory Board, and in the past has served as Canada's National Point of Contact for the Space Generation Advisory Council, and on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Space Society. Kate studied Space Policy at the George Washington University, and is currently pursuing an MA in Educational Studies at Concordia University.
