Audrey Mascarenhas

President and CEO

Audrey Mascarenhas is President and CEO of Questor, a Calgary-based cleantech company with field offices across North America.

A fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineers, Audrey has worked in energy for over 35 years with Gulf Canada Resources Ltd. and Questor, which was recently recognized by the Cleantech Innovation Exchange (CIX) as one of the Top 10 Most Innovative Cleantech Canadian Companies.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary. In 2017, Audrey was named to Canada’s Clean50 and, in 2014, she was chosen by Business in Calgary as one of its Leaders of Tomorrow and named to the Diversity 50 cohort by the Canadian Board Diversity Council. 

A fellow of the Energy Futures Lab, Audrey currently chairs the federal government’s clean technology strategy table and co-chairs the Governor General’s Innovation Awards Assessment Committee.

She has served as a distinguished lecturer with the Society of Petroleum Engineers and is a member of the Schulich Industry Engineering Advisory Council.

In 2011, Audrey was the recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year - Prairies Award for Cleantech and Environmental Services and received a national citation for Values-Based Innovation.
