Orly Salama-Alber, BSc, PhD joined British Columbia's Ministry of Health as a Mitacs Science Policy Research Fellow. She is currently conducting a research project on developing strategies to embed life-sciences innovations in the BC healthcare system. Prior to her role in the provincial government, Orly held a Mitacs postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Victoria at the Biochemistry department. Orly earned her PhD in Biological Chemistry and her Msc in Chemistry, both from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Orly's interests span from biotechnology engineering to medical devices development, health and project management.
