Noushin Nabavi joined British Columbia's Ministry of Citizen's Services in the Data Innovation Program as a Science Policy Fellow September 2018. She is currently conducting two research projects: one on the predictors of misconduct and offence in early adult education, and another on the generation of insights from provincial income data. Prior to becoming a public servant, Noushin earned her PhD in Cell and Systems Biology and BSc in Cell and Molecular Biology, both from the University of Toronto. Noushin's interests are in using data for the development of evidence-informed policies.
