Dr. Creso Sá

Professor Creso Sá is Professor of Higher Education and the Director of the Centre for the Study of Canadian and International Higher education (CIHE) at the University of Toronto. He is an expert in science and technology policy, the evolving role of universities in the economy, and the organization and use of academic research. Prof. Sá brings an extensive track record in the analysis of research policy instruments, interdisciplinary strategies, open science, academic entrepreneurship, and technology transfer. He is a co-author of Tapping the Riches of Science: Universities and the Promise of Economic Growth (Harvard University Press, 2009) and of The Entrepreneurship Movement and the University (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015). He also serves on the Board of Governors of the Consortium of Higher Education Researchers, a body representing a network of scholars from more than 30 countries.
