Emina Veletanlic

Emina Veletanlic is a PhD student at the Centre for the Study of Canadian and International Higher Education at the University of Toronto. Her research interests include science policy, research funding strategies, emerging scientific fields, and university-industry partnerships. Emina also currently serves as Manager, Strategic Initiatives at U of T’s Impact Centre where she is involved in developing large-scale government grants bringing together public and private partners, advising others on funding requirements, and participating in research on entrepreneurship education and commercialization. Emina’s past roles include quality engineering in the electronics industry and research analysis in the economic development sector. She also currently serves on the board of the charity Pueblo Science. Emina received her BASc in Engineering Science (Nanoengineering) and MSc in Chemistry from U of T.
