Julienne Jagdeo
Genome BC
Sector Manager, Health
Vancouver BC
As part of Genome BC’s Health Sector group, I support genomics based research projects and I facilitate the application of genomics into the healthcare system. Prior to Genome BC, I completed my PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UBC, where I used proteomics to study viral-host interactions.
I am also a founding member and Executive Director of the Science and Policy Integration Network (SPIN), a BC-based nonprofit organization that creates space for discussions among scientists and other key policy stakeholders. Our aim is to help build relationships among these diverse stakeholder groups and create opportunities for developing practical solutions.
